Nurse Management Facilitator

This senior nursing position is based in the Level 9 East Wing Renal Department of the Royal Adelaide Hospital. As a Nurse Management Facilitator, you will use your clinical knowledge and experience to provide corporate support services to nursing practice and services. This will encompass areas such as staffing methodologies, recruitment and selection, human resource management, financial administration, bed and resource management, accreditation and risk management processes and information systems management. Accepting accountability for the outcomes of nursing management practices within the Renal Department, you will address inconsistencies between practice and policy and contribute to a safe and positive work culture in the interest of patient outcomes. You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. Demonstrating a broad range of nursing experience and competence in project management, you will possess effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation.
